Personal responsibility
- Each unit owner shall comply with the Governing Documents as set forth in the CCR's, Bylaws, Rules and Regulations etc,
- In the spirit of striving towards an equitable and harmonious community, we ask that all owners and residents review the website and the Governing Documents and adhere to them. This helps to foster equality, equity, accountability, and transparency within our community residents, management and Board of Directors.
- Maintain their property according to established standards
- Pay association assessments and charges on time
- Provide current contact contact information to management to help ensure information is received
- Ensure that owner's tenants, relatives, friends and guests adhere to all rules and regulations
- Items left unattended in common areas (laundry rooms, courtyards, parking lots, etc...) for 24 hours will be considered abandoned and discarded.
- Items left unattended in the fitness room or pools at evening closing, will be discarded at closing time
- Management does not contract with a security agency, so please take all standard safety and security measures for yourself, your home, and your belongings (lock your door, do not leave irreplaceable items or other valuables in vehicles, storage units, etc...)
- Due to the nature of community living, there are rare occasions when homeowner contact information must be shared with another resident if any issues arise (leak, emergency, etc...)
- Aix La Chapelle does not contract with a cleaning service for detail cleaning, but does a general cleaning of the common areas regularly. Please do your part to show pride of ownership in your building area.
- If an owner wishes to complete radon testing and/or install a radon mitigation system for their individual unit, this is owner responsibility. Radon has been detected in varying levels within units in the community, and many owners have opted to install a radon mitigation system for their unit. Please contact management if you have questions.
- Noise-please see downloads tab for information on noise ordinance. A good rule of thumb for community living, is if you can hear noise coming from inside your unit into a common area (hallway, courtyards, etc...) it is likely to loud for your neighbors. Please be respectful.
- Get to know your neighbors, as this is helpful in establishing a harmonious community where neighbors can resolve issues among themselves. Be respectful of your neighbors while realizing that not everyone has the same schedules, lifestyles, etc..., so there must always be a level of understanding and patience when living in a close proximity multi-resident situation.
Assessment Fees
Assessment fees are due the 1st of each month. Payments made after the 10th day will be
charged a $25.00 late fee. Payments should be made through the online portal
(may be delivered to the office door mail slot if necessary). Aix La Chapellle is a paperless billing system and it is homeowner responsibility to manage timely payments. We do not send reminders for late payments.
